01

Choose a pace and create your player

Quick mode advances in three-year blocks and gives seven to eight choices. Story mode moves year by year and usually gives eighteen to twenty-two. Both start at 16 and finish at 38.

  • The name appears only on your shirt and result card.
  • Position changes which statistics matter at the end.
02

Compare the academy offers

A smaller academy usually offers more minutes and room to develop. The strongest club brings reputation and trophy chances, but competition may leave you in the rotation. There is no single best first club.

03

Choose for the story, not the colour

Low risk means less immediate variance, not “correct answer.” Choices also alter loyalty, ambition, discipline and resilience. Exact trait values stay hidden and may unlock a positive consequence years later.

  • For a first run, protect health and minutes.
  • On a second run, choose an identity: loyal, ambitious or resilient.
